Our senior management team is dedicated to achieving a future where every family with a seriously ill child in hospital will be able to stay together, just minutes from their child’s bed during their treatment.
They oversee passionate teams who strive to develop our 'Homes from Homes' to reach even more families in difficult situations. Jane, Sue, Joy, Lizzie and Ayelet are always available to speak to supporters and find out how we can continue together to build a fantastic future for The Sick Children's Trust.
Sue joined The Sick Children’s Trust in March 2001 as Treetop House’s first manager. In 2003 Sue took on the role of House Managers' Co-ordinator for the Northern Region alongside her responsibilities at Treetop. Sue was appointed House Operations Manager in 2006.
With our houses now standing at ten, in 2014, Sue's role was split. In her current role, Sue is responsible for managing our team of house staff for Leeds, Newcastle and Sheffield; ensuring that all our houses operate efficiently and are maintained to the highest standards. Sue also works alongside Jane to ensure we keep abreast of demand at our existing houses and through our future Sick Children's Trust developments.
