The Sick Children’s Trust’s board of Trustees is responsible for the overall control and strategic direction of the charity. All of our Trustees are volunteers who give their valuable time and expertise to support the charity, its Chief Executive and staff.
Our Chairman is Paul Jardine. Paul has been Chairman of The Sick Children’s Trust since 2015, taking over from the previous Chairman Stephen Catlin. Paul has been a supporter of the charity for a number of years both personally and professionally, through his role at XL Catlin, a major corporate supporter.
"I was delighted to be asked to be a trustee for The Sick Children's Trust - I did not know about the charity before, but I have close friends whose children have spent long periods in hospital and I know from them how valuable it is to be able to get a good night's sleep, near the children, not on a chair next to the hospital bed! The SCT team and trustees are very friendly and efficient, and I am delighted to offer any assistance I can with my day job in insurance and risk management."
