Thursday 12th September saw The Sick Children’s Trust host an afternoon of live cricket sponsored by Lebara, at the exclusive Honorary Artillery Company in Moorgate, London.
The Sick Children’s Trust Team included former England Cricketer and Strictly Come Dancing Star Mark Ramprakash,
former England Cricketer and Jamaican-born speed demon Devon Malcolm
Batting first, the Authors’ team, with members including novelist and author of Birdsong Sebastian Faulks
and ex New Zealand cricketer Iain O’Brien

The Sick Children’s Trust team was up next, with Ramprakash and Malcolm supported Les Misérables star, Tim Downie
and James Bond actor Colin Salmon
who dusted off their cricket whites. Sadly, the task proved too much and the Authors XI won by 17 runs.
With Lord Jeffrey Archer
