||The Stand Comedy Club
The Stand Comedy Club opened in Newcastle upon Tyne in October 2011.
There are three The Stand Comedy Clubs, Newcastle being the last one to open. The Stand opened in 1995 in Glasgow and the Edinburgh club opened in 2000.
The clubs are open seven nights a week to showcase the best comedians in the UK and Internationally.
The Stand has been a platform for many comedians including Billy Connolly and Kevin Bridges.
Come and join us for a night of comedy and fun at one of the most renowned comedy venues in the UK.
The first ever Comedy Night event was a huge success. Justin Moorhouse performed (8 out of 10 Cats, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Celebrity Mastermind, Phoenix Nights, Looking for Eric) and proved extremely popular with everyone who came, so we’re delighted he’s agreed to come back again this year to perform.
Joining Justin is Seymour Mace (Dave’s One Night Stand, BBC’s Ideal), who was the highlight of our ‘Fun Powder Plot’ event in November 2012. Justin and Seymour will also be supported by comedians George Zach, Nat Wilks and Matt Reed.
The Sick Children’s Trust Comedy Night will take place at The Stand Comedy Club, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Doors will be open from 7pm and the show will begin at 8:30pm.
