Dance City is a dance organisation with a mission to lead and support a thriving dance ecology in the North East of England.
Open since 1991, Dance City is the lead dance organisation in the North East of England.
Dance City provides excellent facilities, excellent performances, excellent artist support, excellent teachers and excellent opportunities for all to be involved in dance.
Dance City believes in dance reaching as many people as possible, and as many people as possible reaching dance.
What a great evening we had at our first ever Just Dance event in Newcastle.
We raised more than £6,500!
Six local companies competed against each other to be crowned Just Dance Champions 2012.
The two finalists were Dickinson Dees and Northumbrian Water. Dickinson Dees performed to Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation/Cheryl Cole’s Fight For This Love and Northumbrian Water performed to Lady Gaga & Beyonce’s Telephone.
It was a close call but Northumbrian Water were the overall winners and were delighted with their Just Dance 2012 trophy!
Thanks to everyone who took part.
