You can do a lot of good with your spare change
Did you know that Britons have over £40,000,000 down the back of the sofa?!*
According to research conducted by Halifax, the average Briton thinks they have a least £1.61 loose change down the back of their sofas. This equates to as much as £42 million across the nation!
The Sick Children’s Trust has developed new cardboard collection boxes to collect the spare change in your home, which will make a huge difference to the families we support. These flat-pack boxes are easy to assemble and are perfect to leave on the side to collect your loose change. You could even take a box to work..!
Paying in the money you collect
There are several ways you can pay in the money collected in your box:
You can send a cheque made payable to The Sick Children’s Trust and post it to us at: The Sick Children’s Trust, 88 Leadenhall Street, London, EC3A 3BP
Or you can donate online - remember to select 'collection box' as your 'type of donation'
If you are a UK Taxpayer, we can also claim Gift Aid on the money you donate. You will find a Gift Aid form on your collection box, alternatively, you can download a Gift Aid form here and return it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
