Vanessa Redgrave, called “the greatest actress of our time” by Tennessee Williams, is an acclaimed actress of stage and screen. Vanessa was most recently seen in Foxcatcher directed by Bennett Miller, which was nominated for the 2014 Palme d’Or, three Golden Globes and five Oscar nominations in 2015.

Penelope Wilton
 is an English actress known for her film, stage and TV roles. Penelope is the celebrated Mrs Crawley in Downton Abbey and has performed in a number of popular films including The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Calendar Girls. In 2015, Penelope won an Olivier Award for Best Actress - Taken at Midnight.

Margaret Keys
is an Internationally recognised Irish Classical Crossover soprano. Margaret appeared on BBC talent show 'How do you solve a problem like Maria' and was awarded the 'BBC Fame Academy Award'.

Ben Aldridge is an actor, known on screen in popular BBC drama Our Girl (2014), The Railway Man (2013), Lark Rise to Candleford (2008) and Toast (2010).

Anita Dobson is an English stage and television actress and singer. She is known for her role as Angie Watts in EastEnders. In 2003, she was nominated for the Olivier Award for Best Actress for her work in the play Frozen. In 2012, she made her RSC debut in the The Merry Wives of Windsor.

Our fifth annual Christmas Carol Service, will take place on Thursday 3 December 2015, once again in the beautiful candlelit setting of St Marylebone Parish Church, London.

It is a lovely evening of favourite carols, readings and musical performances and the perfect way to welcome the start of the festive period.

The service will see celebrities including acclaimed actress Vanessa Redgrave, Downton Abbey's Penelope Wilton, Our Girl's Ben Aldridge, and Sick Children's Trust Vice President Anita Dobson share their favourite Christmas readings, alongside musical performances from Irish soprano Margaret Keys and the choir of Boutcher Primary School

Guests are invited to join us for wine and mince pies after the service finishes.

Adult tickets £15 / Child tickets £7.50
