We are pleased to announce four exciting new overseas challenges for you to take part in. All four combine trekking with volunteer work in local communities and school, so you can help children overseas while you are helping sick children in the UK!
The Kilimanjaro Challenge: Mountain Climb and School Project
The ultimate Africa Challenge! Help children at a local school in Moshi by completing much needed repairs and refurbishments, then climb Mt Kilimanjaro, the world’s tallest freestanding volcano.
Saturday 2nd October – Friday 15th October.
The Inca Trail Challenge: Inca Trail Trek & Community Project
Discover what the Spanish Conquistadors could not – the lost city of Machu Picchu nestled in the magnificent Andes Mountains. Trek through mountain passes, remote unspoiled villages and jaw-dropping scenery. Ride on one of the world’s highest trains and help a local community with much-needed repairs and improvements.

The Sahara Challenge: Desert Trek & Berber Village Project
Experience the formidable and inhospitable environment of the Sahara Desert on this nine day challenge. Enjoy the delights of Marrakech before experiencing the day-to-day life of the nomadic Berber people as you trek through the desert. Finally, help improve education facilities in a small oasis town.
Saturday 17th April – Sunday 25th April.
The Zambezi Challenge: Canoe Safari & School Project
Witness some of Africa’s most spectacular scenery and wildlife and put yourself in the shoes of the 19th century European explorers who came here in search of the source of the Nile. Spend three days on a farm, assisting on a range of community projects, before heading off to explore the stunning Victoria Falls, one of nature’s wonders. Finally, enjoy an amazing three days canoeing down the mighty Zambezi River.
