Paul and Jo Haigh stayed in Treetop House when their son Edward had Meningitis, they say;
''It was so easy to help The SCT to get publicity! My wife Jo and I shared our story with the charity and were asked to confirm where we were happy for the story to be used. So far our story has appeared in the paper and I have also taken part in a radio interview.
We have been consulted every step of the way and The SCT are always happy to help if and when we have any questions. As far as possible everything has been arranged to suit our timetable, and the reporters have always been so well informed by The SCT before they arrive, that the interviews themselves take very little time. There has never been any stress involved for us as The SCT do everything they can to make it as easy as possible.
We really wanted to find a way to support The SCT after they offered us a place to stay when we needed it the most; This is a fantastic way to support the charity and we're looking forward to doing all we can in future!"
The Haigh’s story has not only been used to raise awareness in the local paper, but they have also been interviewed by the local radio station about their stay in Treetop House.
The SCT press office will be there to support you through the process and you will always have control over the charity’s use of your story.
