The event can be incorporated into your regular timetable or you could try something completely new! One of our supporters, Robert Clark, has recently completed the London to Paris cycle challenge and took part with other people he had never met before; now he is starting a cycling club with them!

We can help you out with any materials that you may need to help you fundraise.

Eric Murphy, Dave Clark, Tony Kay, Raymond Green, Nick Craft and Roger Kendrick who are members of Kirkham and Rural Fylde Rotary Club in Lancashire all took part in there annual sponsored cycle ride and raised an amazing £2,000. They cycled from Derby to Oxford and this is the 10th year that they have raised money for charity.

"Quite an achievement considering we are all now over 60!"

The Sick Children’s Trust was chosen as one of the charities of the year, in memory of Roger Kendrick’s Granddaughter, Eliza Bayley, who sadly died on 10th November 2006.

"My daughter and her family were able to stay with Eliza in accommodation provided by the Trust which was much needed support at a very traumatic time. The Rotary Club and my family are grateful to you for this and this donation is to mark that gratitude and to help other families in their time of greatest need."
