Bedlam week 12th - 18th May 2008

Bedlam at The SCTFundraise the way you want to and get the feel-good factor!

Bedlam Week is our annual fundraising campaign where you can really make a difference to families across the UK who have a sick child in hospital. We want to raise a massive £5,000 this year to help us accommodate the 3,900 families who turn to us every year for support while their loved one receives vital hospital treatment.

How does it work?
The Sick Children’s Trust is asking men, women and children everywhere to raise money in whatever way they choose. In fact, the more imaginative the idea, the better!

This year, we have launched a ‘Pyjamarama’ competition for children aged 4-11. There are great prizes to be won and two age categories for entry. To download the competition pack, please click here.

Fantastic Prizes to be Won!
We have some fabulous prizes to give away to the Bedlam Host who raises the most for The Sick Children’s Trust, as well as for the host who comes up with the most imaginative / creative Bedlam Event. To be entered into the competition, you must send your donation, along with a brief description of your event with a photograph to ‘Bedlam Week 2008’, The Sick Children’s Trust, 80 Ashfield Street, London, E1 2BJ. Click here to download your donation form.

25th Anniversary Silver Ball - Newcastle

The Newcastle 25th Anniversary Silver Ball, held on March 28th at Newcastle United Football Club was a fabulous evening of great music, wonderful food and fantastic fundraising. We are delighted to tell you that the event raised over £5,400 for The Sick Children’s Trust and a fun night was had by all.

Live music was performed by ‘Hip Operation’ and they certainly got our guests in the party mood.

Our host for the evening was the wonderful Phil Embleton who did a great job of running all our fundraising games – thank you Phil!

A big thank you must go to all our sponsors – without whom we could not have put on such a great night. Thank you to Northumbrian Water, British Airways, ChemDry Northumberland and Tyneside, Gryphon Digital, JDK and Yexley North East.

A Magic Moment Wows Guests!

On February 27th, A Magic Moment took place at The Magic Circle Headquarters in Euston. Guests enjoyed an intimate evening in the unique surroundings of this special building.

The champagne reception set the tone for the evening with a captivating performance from the wonderful string quartet ‘Scala’. After this performance, guests were treated to an exciting and hilarious stage show from The Magic Circle’s magicians. Finally, there was a sumptuous dinner and auction served in the Devant Room.

The event was a great success and raised a tremendous £68,000 for The Sick Children’s Trust. A truly magical night!
