Flora London Marathon 2009
The ballot for the Flora London Marathon 2009 opened at noon on race day this year (Sunday 13th April 2008). The only way to apply now is online, so if you want to apply to the ballot then go to www.london-marathon.co.uk. The system will stay open until Friday 5th September 2008 or when 120,000 applicants have been received.
Adidas Women's 5k Challenge 2008
The Adidas Women's 5k challenge takes place on Sunday 7th September 2008. You can take part in Hyde Park London, City Centre Birmingham or Shefton Park Liverpool.
This women-only 5km run is perfect for those of you who are feeling fit and those girls who 'just wanna have fun!' In 2007 we raised a fabulous £2609.09! We want to smash that record this year! The entry fee is £15 and with £5 of this automatically going to The SCT it really is the more the merrier. So go online to www.womenschallenge.co.uk and join The Sick Children's Trust reach there target this year!
