Calling all Yorkshire cooks…
During the winter of 2009, aspiring cooks across Yorkshire held dinner parties to help us work towards our aim of raising more than £150,000 for The Big Move campaign.
Meals were whipped, baked and cooked up into a frenzy to serve to willing guests. And no doubt a suitable amount of wine was drunk!
Although the campaign is officially over, please feel free to host a dinner party anywhere across the UK to help us raise funds as The Big Move is running right the way through till May. How it all works
The idea is simple really:
1) You cook a meal and your guests pay you (on a donation form) as much as they think it would be in a restaurant.
2) You then give the donations to The Sick Children’s Trust! We will put your donations towards The Big Move appeal.
