Ian Allsop of BDL is supporting 'The Big Move' relocation project in Leeds by organising fundraising events and providing access to local businesses to reduce our moving costs .

Catlin
Catlin Underwriting have been involved with The SCT for many years. Most recently, we have benefited from Catlin staff’s involvement in a sponsored triathlon event, use of their office space for a reception to celebrate our 25th Anniversary, and a company donation for the development of this new website. Catlin also help collect foreign currency and old mobile phones which we can recycle, turning these into money we can spend on providing our ‘Homes from Home’.

Stephen Catlin is the Chief Executive of the company. He, together with Catlin’s Charities Committee, have demonstrated a great commitment to the families we support. This partnership is a great example of what can be achieved when a company and charity come together.

Bordeaux Index
Gary Boom is a member of The SCT Board of Trustees. He is also Managing Director of Bordeaux Index, and through Gary, the company sponsored a fundraising reception and our Stars Behind Bars event in September 2007.

Poster Frames by Green Magic

Green Magic kindly donated mini snap poster frames to go outside every bedroom enabling existing sponsors to be acknowledged and to encourage additional sponsorship of rooms.

Low Moor Club
We have been Low Moor Club's Charity Of The Year for the last four years, with them kindly donating a total of £4,000 during this period.  They are also hugely supportive of Eckersley House in Leeds and are happy to offer their function room at the club free of charge to anyone who would like to host a Sick Children's Club fundraising event.

Mars UK
Sponsor one of our bedrooms at Eckersley House in Leeds and we are currently arranging a visit for Mars UK representatives to view the 'Home from Home' and hear about the families who are benefiting from our, and Mars UK, support.

Morgan Ashurst

Came along to Acorn House one afternoon recently and undertook some much needed improvements including creating a new outdoor area, replacing two broken window sills and repairing the outdoor signage.  They also very kindly donated a large amount of cleaning materials.

As if this wouldn't have been enough, the very generous team of staff has promised to come back later in the year to sand, varnish and polish the existing floor.

Northumbrian Water

NWL has supported Crawford House in Newcastle since 2007. Not only have they raised money for us, but recently an enthusiastic team of employees redecorated 16 bedrooms at Crawford House to a very high standard as part of their community care initiative called 'Just An Hour' - whereby employees are encouraged to donate a minimum of 15 hours of their time to a community project.

Veolia

Both London and Sheffield branches are working alongside The SCT to create new fundraising ideas to help raise funds as well as our profile.
