A Night of Elegance and Generosity

Supper Club at the esteemed Mosimann’s private dining club raises over £70,000 for The Sick Children's Trust and our 'Homes from Home’

On 27 March, supporters of The Sick Children’s Trust gathered at the iconic Mosimann’s Club in Belgravia for an evening of fine dining, entertainment, and philanthropy. The Supper Club event raised an incredible £70,410 in support of our ten ‘Homes from Home’, which provide a warm and welcoming place to stay for families with a seriously ill child in hospital.

The evening was hosted by actor and charity ambassador Tim Downie, who has been proudly supporting The Sick Children’s Trust since 2018.

Harrison’s story

During dinner, guests were treated to live entertainment from bossa nova duo Luminosity, with their gorgeous melodies setting the tone for a memorable and uplifting evening. Following dinner, family speaker Lulu Trask bravely shared her family’s experience of staying at Guilford Street House when her four-month-old son Harrison was diagnosed with pneumococcal meningitis – a life-threatening infection affecting the brain and spinal cord. During Harrison’s treatment at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Lulu and her partner, Will Fisher, found essential support at our Guilford Street ‘Home from Home’, just minutes from their son’s hospital ward. You can read more about their extremely moving story here.

Further speeches were given by Jane Featherstone, CEO of The Sick Children’s Trust, and Paul Jardine, who recently stepped down as Chair of Trustees after many years of dedicated service to the charity. Guests also enjoyed a stunning live electric violin performance from Emma Rushworth of String Infusion before engaging in a lively auction, expertly led by auctioneer Oliver Holloway.

The success of the evening would not have been possible without the generosity and support of so many. Special thanks go to Qube Research & Technologies for generously sponsoring the event; our host Tim Downie for his warmth and enthusiasm; and our auctioneer Oliver Holloway for leading a fantastic auction.
