Autumn/Winter Newsletter celebrates resilience and generosity

Bringing you the latest updates from the charity while shining a light on the amazing people who help keep our ‘Homes from Home’ running

As the nights draw in, our latest Autumn/Winter Newsletter is here – filled with stories of courage, compassion and community from across our ‘Homes from Home’.

Baby on the front cover of The Autumn/Winter 2025 edition of The Sick Children's Trust newsletterIn this edition, we share two powerful family stories that show just how much your support means. Lauren Auckland tells us how Magnolia House became a sanctuary when her baby Riley faced a life-threatening illness at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, while Alice Lown-Roberts reflects on how Stevenson House helped her stay close to both of her twin boys when one needed urgent care at The Royal London.

We’re also shining a light on our new Regular Giving appeal, inviting supporters to become a Friend of The Sick Children’s Trust. Your monthly gifts help us plan ahead and keep families together when they need it most.

There’s plenty more to inspire, including Anton Du Beke’s incredible fundraising milestone of over £250,000 and details of this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge, where every donation made from 2-9 December will be doubled to make twice the difference.

You’ll also find updates from our Super Supporters, special ‘Home from Home’ milestones, and upcoming events – from our Together at Christmas carol service to the launch of Together Through Art in February.
