Families are at the heart of our 'Homes from Home'
When Faith Pearson's five month old son fell ill just before Christmas 2021, The Sick Children's Trust's 'Homes from Home' at Sheffield Children's Hospital helped her family when they needed it most.
Lucas and Leo were born eight weeks premature on Christmas Day. Lucas later needed further treatment when he was struggling with his breathing and needed specialist care. Acorn House made sure the family were always together.
