In March, the world as we knew it suddenly changed. We were asked to stay indoors and stay safe however for many of the families we support, that wasn’t possible. Throughout lockdown, babies have been born prematurely and children continued to become critically ill which has meant our ‘Homes from Home’ have been needed more than ever.

We estimate that we will lose 25-30% of our income this year. As a small charity this is a significant loss; please bid generously and help us ensure every family with a seriously ill child in hospital has somewhere to stay and someone to talk to when they need it the most. Families like the Jones’ who stayed in Acorn House when their eight-month old daughter Beth was rushed to hospital with meningitis and sepsis.
