Take part in any of our running events and you will receive a free official Sick Children’s Trust running vest, plus a full fundraising pack, access to fundraising materials and on-going support from our dedicated team! 

The Virgin Money London Marathon 2017Date: Sunday 23 April 2017

Royal Parks Half Marathon 2017Date: 8 October 2017
Registration Fee: £35
Minimum sponsorship: £350

This stunning 13.1 mile route takes in the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads. Join 16,000 others on a run through four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens. To register for 2017, please contact Jen or call  020 3786 2431. 

Great North Run 2017
Date: Sunday 10 September 2017
Where: Newcastle upon Tyne to South Shields
Minimum sponsorship: £300

Take part in the World’s largest half marathon and raise funds for The Sick Children’s Trust. 

The Great North Run is famous for its fantastic atmosphere. The spectator-lined course covers 13.1 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne, across the iconic Tyne Bridge and on to the picturesque coastal finish in South Shields. 

We ask all our runners to pay a £54 registration fee which covers the cost of entering the run.

Bedford Half Marathon and Mini MilesDate: Saturday 2 September 2017 

We’re delighted to be the official charity partner for the Bedford Half Marathon in 2017, which is also bringing free Mini Mile races for children on Saturday 2 September, in Bedford. The Mini Miles are designed to help encourage participation, fitness and the well-being of young people from the borough.

Participants will be split into age categories, which also includes a family fun run and they are open to anyone wanting to get involved. Every finisher will receive a medal and have the chance to meet local Olympians!

Already have a place for another run or fundraising event?Why not collect sponsorship for The Sick Children’s Trust? For runners who have their own places already, we'd love to offer our help and support to make sure you cross that finish line and raise money for a fantastic charity in the process. You will receive fundraising materials and advice to make it as easy as possible to raise funds to help keep families stay together.
