The Northern Rock Cyclone
The Northern Rock Cyclone is back for 2012 and registration is now open!

There’s a variety of events taking place across the weekend for cyclists of all abilities. Families can participate in the more leisurely Tyne 6 Bridges event but if you're more competitive you can take part in the Leazes Criteriums and the Cyclone Challenge.

Virgin London Marathon
This year’s London Marathon will take place on Sunday 22nd April. We have now filled all of our Golden Bond places for this year, but if you were lucky enough to get your own place through the general ballot then we’d love to hear from you! Runners with their own place in the event receive the same amount of support and resources as our Golden Bond runners, but without the minimum sponsorship level.

Bupa London 10,000
You can now book your place in the 2012 Bupa London 10,000, which takes place on Sunday 27th May at 11:00am.

The event is fast becoming one of the most popular mass-participation 10k events in the UK with around 9,000 people taking part each year. The route starts and finishes in London’s famous St James’ Park, right on Buckingham Palace’s doorsteps and takes you past such iconic landmarks as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye.

Registration costs just £15 and there is £200 minimum sponsorship. The deadline for registering is Friday 27th April 2012. Email Lydia for more information.

Great North Run
All of The Sick Children’s Trust places have now been allocated however, if you would like to be added to our reserve list or you have your own place but would like to raise money for The Sick Children’s Trust, please email Caroline or call 0191 282 5825.

We will be applying for more places when the clearing system opens in July so there is a chance we will get more places but this is not a guarantee.

New York Marathon
We are very excited to announce that we now have places in the ING New York City Marathon on 4th November 2012!

This fantastic race is one of the largest in the world, with around 50,000 taking part and it is the perfect event for anyone who is looking for a new and exciting challenge.

Minimum sponsorship for this event is £2,000 and this covers your flights and entry into the race. For more information, download our registration pack.
